D.W. (Bill) Miles, Commander

D.W. "Bill" Miles was the VFW Department of Georgia State Commander for the 2025–2026 term, leading the Grant-Reeves VFW Post 7720 in Cornelia, Georgia, which is his home post. A 28-year, retired Army veteran, Miles is dedicated to supporting veterans and their communities by assisting with various needs, such as building accessibility devices for older veterans and helping those experiencing homelessness. He is also known for his fundraising efforts for veterans' projects, such as a special fund for PTSD/TBI.

Bill has been elected as Post 7720 Commander for 2026/2027

Bulk emailing of meeting minutes and updates has been discontinued. Moving forward, all official announcements, event notices, and post updates will be shared through our GroupMe chatroom.
